About

Chronics are fictions about the people I love.

Chronics are the people I love.

Chronics come from chronicles, crónicas and crônicas: 'A literary genre that combines journalistic writing with literary flair', 'Ephemeral in nature, usually written in an informal, observational and sometimes humorous tone'. Chronics are not exactly that, but they swerve close.

Chronics come from chronically sick, chronically funny, chronically themself.

Chronics are buoyant, they cannot be stopped. They skip from one place to the next, smacking the world in the head, then kissing it on the neck.

These people may or may not exist but I love them all the same.
